What is renewable energy?

Renewable energy can be accessed from natural materials that can be regularly refreshed. Renewable energy is an energy from a source in which isn’t depleted when it’s already used like wind or solar power.

About Renewable Energy

There are many different types of renewable energy, including solar power, wind power, tides and waves, biomass, geothermal, and others. These are all renewable energies, and cannot run out.

Fossil Fuels

Fossil fuels is a general name for buried combustible geologic deposits of natural resources, made from decomposed plants, animals and other once living things that have been converted to crude oil, coal, natural gas, or heavy oils by being exposed to pressure and heat in Earth over millions of years.

Disadvantages

It’s simple to understand the environmental advantages of using the alternative and renewable types of power but we also have to be mindful of the disadvantages.

1. It is hard to produce the amounts of electricity that are as big as those created by original fossil fuel producers. This could mean that we need to decrease the quantity of energy we use or just build additional energy facilities. It also shows that the greatest answer to our energy difficulties may be to have a steadiness of many different power sources.

2. The dependability of stock. Renewable power frequently relies on the climate for its source of power. Hydro generators require rain to fill dams to stock flowing water. Wind turbines require wind to spin the blades, and solar panels require clear skies and the sun to gather warmth and create power. When these resources are unavailable, so is the capacity to create power from them. This can be randomised and inconsistent. The present cost of renewable power technology is also distant in excess of original fossil fuel generation. This is because it is a more modern technology and as such has a tremendously big capital price.
